Advantages of a Large City
A big city is where you can see many vehicles, many skyscrapers, and many people with a hurried pace of life. Nowadays, more and more people want to live there because they see many advantages. First of all, in a big city, people can take the chances to study and work best. There are many good universities for you to choose in a big city. There you can study what you like. Moreover, when you graduate, you also find it easier to get a good job with good salary. Therefore, many graduate students choose big cities to live and work. In addition, in a big city you can enjoy the best services. Life in a big city is quite luxurious but you don't have to be worried when you are sick or when you suffer from a disease because there you can find good doctors for you, as long as you have much money.  In a big city you can also find good entertainment like indoor and outdoor sports and games. Finally, big cities don’t offer that sweet privacy and easiness of small town, but it has its own special attractions. We should choose where to live based on our needs and taste. 

Disadvantages of a Large City
There are several disadvantages of living in a large city. First of all, a large city is mostly busy and crowded. It has many people with cars living in it. There is usually traffic on the road, so it takes a long time to drive from one place to another. A large city is also very noisy. You will  hear the sounds of cars, buses, and people. If your house is near the street, you will never sleep because of the noise. In addition, a large city is almost always polluted. Factories, cars, and buses that are found in a big city produce toxic smoke which can harm people and the environment. Finally, a large city often has a high rate of crime. Many robberies and murders happen in big cities where lots of people live. Some people hate the crowds, pollution and crime of a big city and want to move away from it.
